NGS, otherwise known as next-generation sequencing, is expected to be the next major breakthrough in DNA discovery and analysis. By examining a series of sequence samples, researchers were able to create solutions designed to resolve a multitude of problems. Our group of researchers and students use reliable individual components that help to create workflows, streamlining the sequencing for Next Gen NGS processes to help discover new sequencing and solutions. This includes research and creating solutions in the following areas:

Whole Genome Analysis

As part of discovering the next-generation sequencing, whole genome analysis not only provides researchers and students a workflow to streamline the sequencing for NGS processes, but helps to develop pathways for next-generation sequencing. Our focus on whole genome analysis is to help develop pathways that can assist us in creating positive solutions. This is a cutting edge technology that is only going to expand, and we are proud to make our customers to be on the forefront of this research and development.

Whole Exome Analysis

One of the benefits of next-generation sequencing has been the ability to do DNA sequencing analysis on a scale never imagined previously. Using NGS methods, our researchers and students are able to detect variations in the exonic regions of the genome. This is helping us to produce positive results for developing clinically relevant analysis and procedures to work with mutations and other structural variants.

Bacterial Genome Analysis

Within the last 30 years, researchers have been able to complete gene sequences for bacterial genomes. While comparing days sequences, it has been discovered that bacterial proteins have been highly conserved during the evolutionary process. This is allowing our researchers to make educated predictions on the functions of most of the products of un-sequence genomes. This despite the fact that bacterial genomes differ significantly in gene sequencing. This has led to some fascinating research on the bacterial genome sequence to discover novel drug through analysing resistant genes and biosynthetic gene clusters.

Mitochondrial Genome Analysis

Our researchers work on analyzing mitochondrial genomes, not only looking to more greatly understand the mitochondrial genome, but also be able to analyze for variance that could lead to diseases and other pathogens. Because of the vital role of the mitochondria in cell function and the importance of mtDNA, a highly trained and successful staff has been established to continue research and teach the next generation of scientists. Whole mitochondrial genome sequencing is an efficient tool in the molecular taxonomy of insects and related fields.
